2. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide document preparation services you requested
  • To process payments via Stripe
  • To send transactional emails about your case
  • To improve the platform (aggregated, non-personal data only)

3. Document Handling

Your documents are processed using AI services (Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini) via their Enterprise API tiers. These services do not use your data for model training. Documents are not retained after analysis is complete. OCR-extracted text is stored in your case workspace for the duration of your active case only.

4. Zero-Training Guarantee

CaseBuilder uses Enterprise API tiers from AI providers that contractually guarantee your data is not used for model training. Your case materials, personal information, and documents are never used to improve AI models.

5. Data Storage and Security

  • Data stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security
  • Files stored in Supabase Storage with access controls
  • All data encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest
  • Authentication via Clerk with industry-standard security

6. Third-Party Services

  • Clerk - authentication and user management
  • Supabase - database and file storage
  • Anthropic (Claude) - AI document analysis and drafting
  • Stripe - payment processing
  • Resend - transactional email
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

7. Your Rights

  • Request deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Export your case data
  • Opt out of marketing communications
  • Request information about what data we hold

8. Attorney Review Data Sharing

If you purchase attorney review, you authorize CaseBuilder to share your case materials with the reviewing attorney. The attorney is bound by their own professional obligations regarding your data.
